Dr. A.Nagaratna was born on 08/08/1955 at Ballari, Karnataka. She has completed MBBS from Ballari Medical Collage, Post graduate diploma in Medico Legal Sciences from Symbiosis, Pune, Post graduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from
IGNOU, trained in Laparoscopy from Mumbai. Her area of research was Geriatric Health Chronic Diseases Effecting old age and Area of specialization was Comprehensive Health care of Elderly Socio-psychological Impact of age in elderly.
She started Geriatric practice in 1998. She worked in Family Planning Association of India for ten years conducted innumerable camps for sterilization in male and female patients.
Dr.A.Nagaratna started a Home for Senior Citizens Home Again in 1998 with Helpline and Ambulance services for the aged and later shifted to the new premises in Chaitanya Enclave – A hope and shelter for the senior citizen who is in
need of food, shelter and social security with love and affection. She also started Krishna Sannidhi old age home at Sanganakallu Ballari during 2012 a place for Senior citizens to lead a life of their own wish and will with all
the modern day amenities. She is assisting living and long term care hospital for the elderly who cannot take care of themselves. She started Rural health center for the surrounding villages elders – facility to assist to get a
proper solution for all the age related health problems.
Dr.A.Nagaratna is past President of Chinmaya Mission conducted Geetha Gyanayagna successfully, President of Annavarjula Subramanyam Memorial (A.S.M) Trust, President of Chaitanya Trust, Director of Krishna Sannidhi old age home, Director
of Geetha Nursing Home, Ballari. She is also Wise President of B.E.T., Ballari which runs a school-Sharada Vidya Peetha a school for poor children and downtrodden children of the society.
Dr.A.Nagaratna got Gayathri Ratna award by Gayathri Seva Samithi, Pride of Ballari – A women achiever during 2017 by Round Table, Ballari for complete care of elderly taken up as a challenge and spending life time for the cause.
Through A.S.M. Trust and Chaitanya Trust she used to conduct innumerable number of Medical Camps for the senior citizens of nearby villages and distribute medicines freely for them. Presently she is practicing at Geetha Nursing Home,
